As we slowly ascend towards adolescence, pubic hair is a clear indication that we are growing up. It is one of the first sign of change in our body as we grow up.
Traditionally, a full set of pubic hair is considered attractive and inviting, but women are swiftly moving to trim, sculpt and at times completely shave their pubic hair for their partners pleasure. Sexual attractiveness and neatness are two major reasons why women prefer to trim and shave.
Arrival of swimsuits and bikinis has made legs more prominent and women have shaped their bikini line by symmetrically removing pubic hair around their thighs. It is a common practice and has become more common with advent of new technology offering relatively painless ways of removing pubic hair.
Pubic hair removal is traditionally, painful. This is major concern of most people who tend to go for this, and it is best to research well before buying into this. Unfortunately, there is no simple answer. Amount of pain experienced depends on the following factors:
Method
Before and after care
Some methods will cause more pain than others, but then they might be more effective, it all depends. Bikini waxing, Plucking or tweezing, Electrolysis and laser beams have been known to be rather painful. On the other hand, shaving with a razor (electric or otherwise) and applying depilatories have been known to cause less pain in comparison.
It is recommended that if it is your first time, seek professional help. Bikini waxing is offered by most beauty parlors. From there on, you can DIY at home, simply using a razor. Remember, it can be fun to create your own designs at home. I personally was surprised by my girlfriend with a heart shaped trim on Valentines day.
